Day 1
Cochin - Kumarakom
Day 1: Cochin – Kumarakom
- Arrival at Cochin Airport/Railway Station. Meet and greet by our representative.
- Proceed to the tranquil backwater village of Kumarakom (Approx. 1.5 to 2 hours’ drive).
- Check-in at your resort or hotel and unwind.
- Explore Kumarakom, a peaceful village made up of small islands along the banks of Vembanad Lake, Kerala’s largest freshwater lake.
- Visit the famous Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary, spread over 14 acres. It’s a haven for bird watchers with sightings of migratory birds such as Siberian storks, egrets, herons, and more.
- Enjoy a relaxing evening surrounded by the calm waters and gentle breeze of the backwaters.
- Overnight stay at a resort or hotel in Kumarakom.
Day 2
Kumarakom – Alleppey
Day 2: Kumarakom – Alleppey (Houseboat Experience)
- After breakfast, proceed to Alleppey (Alappuzha), the Venice of the East.
- Check-in to your deluxe private houseboat for a unique overnight cruise through the breathtaking Kerala backwaters.
- Sail through scenic narrow canals lined with lush paddy fields, swaying coconut palms, and charming village life along the banks.
