          Our homestay unit is situated at the bank of river Meenachil (Aymanam) just 3 kms away from the fast developing picnic spots as Vembanad lake, Midnight sand and the Kumarakom birds sanctuary and 8 kms from Kottayam town and 85 kms from Cochin Airport and 110 kms to Thekkady Wild Life.
        
          This village is an unbelievable beautiful paradise of mangrove forests, Emerald green paddy (rice) fields and coconut groves interspersed with enchanting water ways and canals adorned with spicy and medicinal plants. An ideal place to explore Kerala's tradition and the real village life and to stay for a long period at a clam and quite pollution free zone. The silence of this area, which you haven't experienced before.
   
          The village is decorated with ancient Christian churches, Hindu temples, country and snake boats. These snake boats can carry more than 100 rowers at a time. A boat journey through the internal water ways/back waters will be an unforgettable event. We arrange this on request. Ayurvedic treatment as body massages also can be arranged. We offer variety entertainment's as cable TV, fishing, boating, country boat rowing, birds watching and sight seeing at our homestay on request.
